Welcome

Thank you for visiting my website and taking an interest in acupuncture. A few years ago, I turned to acupuncture to help address a variety of symptoms- headaches, bladder infections, poor sleep, but most of all I was at a crossroads in my life. Professionally, I was searching for the next step and having trouble choosing a path. Although I loved my job working with teens infected with and affected by HIV, I was frustrated that the "western" medical center where I saw patients didn't have the manpower to effectively help our clients live fully and be well. 

Around the same time, my personal life took a major unexpected turn and I found myself in need of healing on a very deep level.  So I turned to acupuncture.  After my initial treatments, I began to feel physically better and emotionally more complete and quickly discovered that a career in acupuncture was for me.  Being a practitioner meant that I could continue to work in the health field, but with a greater focus on helping people live their most healthful and balanced lives. As a patient and a practitioner, acupuncture profoundly affects my life each and every day. I am grateful to my patients for allowing me the opportunity to bring this practice into their lives.
